From:                              Mary Rossi Travel

Mary Rossi Traveller,

What a pleasure it has been to welcome the Mary Rossi Travel consultants back to our Neutral Bay office over the past week, and to meet with clients face-to-face.  We are still all on reduced hours and in-person consultations are by appointment only.  By all indications from the major players, airline travel for the foreseeable future will only be for the vaccinated.  And, hopefully, you will appreciate that we still need to restrict visitors to our office to the fully vaccinated as well, for the safety of our staff and other travellers.
Like so many things these days, the opening of our country is technology-driven with the announcement in recent days of NSW and Australian government software surrounding vaccination certificates, passports and other security initiatives.
IATA, the globally recognised International Air Transport Association is rapidly developing systems that monitor the health requirements and border restrictions of every country and city they fly to. They will link this information with the multi-airline reservation systems that we use to create and maintain your flight itinerary. That’s a big step forward but to say that it’s complex is putting it mildly.  We are aware that you will be looking to us for advice and guidance and we continue to spend a lot of time questioning and training to ensure we deliver consistent, timely information.  As you have seen, things change so rapidly.
International cruising is now firmly re-established with improved health protocols and flexible deposit arrangements for cancellation-wary passengers.  Cruise lines are looking forward to welcoming Aussie travellers again, and cruising is set to quickly regain its reputation as the most relaxing holiday - with the ship taking care of all those health and port requirements.  Have you committed to spending that future cruise credit yet?
So it looks like it’s all systems go from here on in.   Thank you for staying the course with us!

In the Footsteps of Arthur Boyd : 20–22 January 2022

This is a wonderful itinerary for lovers of Australian Art.

Discover the legacy of one of Australia’s most creative dynasties at Bundanon, Arthur Boyd’s expansive property on the banks of NSW's Shoalhaven River.
In the company of art critic Christopher Allen and landscape artist Michelle Hiscock, you'll explore diverse creations still on display in the Boyd family home and appreciate how the secluded location and tranquil landscape continue to inspire Australian artists and writers.

Other highlight's include visiting the new, purpose built Art Museum to admire a collection that includes Streeton, Nolan and Whiteley, and visiting Meroogal, a charming 1880s house handed down through four generations of women which still preserves their favourite belongings, from ornaments to furniture, photographs, diaries and clothes.
Tour date is 20-22 January, 2022. $2,950pp twin share, $295 single supplement.

This tour is part of the World Art Tours program organised by the Art Gallery Society of NSW in partnership with Renaissance Tours.
